Mites Mites can be divided into two groups- the burrowing mites that make and live in small tunnels in the animal’s skin and surface mites that live and feed amongst skin debris on the surface of the skin. To diagnose skin
mites the vet will take coat brushings, skin scrapings and
sometimes blood from your pet. Various products can be used in the
treatment of these conditions although they can take a while to resolve. |
