Repeat prescriptions

The standard policy for repeat prescriptions is that the patient needs to be checked by a vet every 3 months, once its condition has been stabilised. This interval may be varied at the discretion of the vet based on the individual case and may be increased or decreased.

We require repeat checks because often conditions vary over time and new drugs or doses may be required and to check for the development of side effects caused by drug usage.

You can order your repeat prescription over the phone or by emailing us.

When emailing use rrx@btconnect.com and please include:

your name and the first line of your address
your pet's name
a phone number on which you can be reached
the drugs you would like to order.

Please order at least 24 hours before you intend to collect your prescription and ideally 48 hours if ordering online in order to avoid delays at reception. If there is a problem with an internet order, we will phone or email you if you have provided us with an accurate email address or number, so please check your emails before travelling.
