Leanne Rooth RVN
Head Nurse - Registered Veterinary Nurse
I joined the team in 2012 and started my vet nurse training early in 2014, qualifying as an RVN in 2016.
I have a keen interest in working alongside cats and understanding their behaviour; I was proud to gain my ISFM certificate in Feline Friendly Nursing to distinction level, lots of hard work but worth it! I am now the Cat Advocate for our practice, this means I am constantly working to ensure we offer excellent care to suit the specific needs of our feline patients.
Lately I have also taken over the role of Head Nurse for the practice and I am really enjoying this new challenge.
My other interests include conducting nursing clinics and getting to know our lovely clients and their animals. My Pet Health Councillor qualification has really helped me develop my skills in this area and lately I have been working with the team to promote our senior pet health clinic
Outside of work I love to travel, socialise and I have a little Pug called Norman.
